Bay Cove Cottage A is one side of a rustic 1940s cottage duplex. Cottage A is closest to the highway, so there is road noise. It is a clean and cozy, brightly colored, 550 sq ft apartment with one bedroom and a fold-out couch in the living room. The kitchen and bathroom with shower are simple, and retain original vintage character. There is no stove or oven, but a microwave, skillet, a portable single burner rangette, for preparation of simple meals, and a refrigerator are provided in the kitchen. A laundry room with tall table and chairs offers great bay views while enjoying coffee or a glass of wine, when the weather is not suitable for patio use. The owner's residence is nearby, on the same lot as the cottages, and may also be rented. We can direct you to easy bayshore access that requires a 500 foot walk along Cape Arago Hwy., or other easy bay access for clamming or crabbing within short driving distances.
