In the other direction, you can walk a quick two blocks (about 100 steps or a three-minute stroll) to boogie board, build sandcastles, or catch a spectacular sunset on the open sands of Rockaway Beach.
This townhome enjoys a best-of-all-worlds location on the south side of Rockaway Beach, on the northern shore of Spring Lake, and in a setting overlooking the lake and the mountains that's ideal for birdwatching. When you head out to the beach, you'll even have Tommy Bahama beach chairs, sandcastle equipment, a skim board, and two boogie boards to take with you.
Inside, this two-level home is both cozy and open, offering views of the water through generous windows. There's a fully appointed kitchen with full-size stainless steel appliances, an adjacent dining room table, and a light-filled living room with a new 55-inch Smart TV and an electric fireplace to warm you.
