Retreat complex is situated in a secluded 8.5 Acres of mature woodlands with scenic hills,
ridges and valley terrain. There are nature trails into the woodlands.
Main house is a cedar-clad 3 BR (2 queen, 1 full bed), 2 bath residence with a wood-
burning fireplace. All beds have new Serta high-support mattresses with pillow tops. A LG
Frame television that is internet connected is wall mounted in the living room. There is a well-
equipped kitchen with a gas stove & oven. A multi-function GE microwave, and a dishwasher.
There are two dining areas: An indoor glass table with sliding wings, seating 6-8, and an
elevated, fully enclosed screened porch with a dining table seating 6, all with a great woodland
view. The screened porch has an adjacent, elevated deck with a new-series Weber Genesis
grill and rocking chairs. There is a bright basement with a large exercise area, a private 6-
person Sauna, a Power Plate exercise machine, and a new, large capacity LG washer/dryer
tower. A secluded, ground-level porch has an overhead-protected 6 person Nordic hot tub and
an adjacent outdoor shower with hot & cold water (seasonal). Surrounding the main house
there is a fire-pit with 6 Adirondack chairs, cushioned chaise lounges, and an outdoor dining
table seating 6-8, as well as a smaller dining table in a private alcove. An elevated front porch
has comfortable rocking chairs and overlooks Lyman Whitaker wind sculptures and decorative
plantings.
High speed internet is available throughout the main house, screened porch, and
outdoor seating areas. The main house has central A/C and heat, as well as ceiling fans in all
bedrooms. Multiple USB hubs (including USB-c) are available in the LR for charging cell phones.
A separate, detached studio contains a large living/work area with sofa, desk, cocktail
cart, and a fireplace. There is good, high-speed internet connectivity in this studio, making it a good private work or study venue. The studio has quiet A/C and heat from a split unit electric heat pump. The studio has numerous
conveniently-placed electric outlets to charge portable computers and multiple, built in USB
and USB-c hubs to charge cell phones.
An infant/toddler highchair with detachable tray is provided, if needed. A ironing board
and iron are provided, if needed. Each bathroom has a hairdryer (located in cabinet drawers).
Two woodland trails can be accessed from the left side yard (with the firepit), they are
1) the upper ridge trail and 2) the lower ridge trail.
