You are renting the main camp. The main camp consists of approximately 1600 square feet of air-conditioned space and includes three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and a private bath with a shower. It also has a wall mounted TV with an entrance from the large family room and also a private entrance out to the deck. The guest room also has a wall mounted smart TV, a queen bed and an entrance from the large family room with a private entrance out to the deck. The guest room shares a bath with the third bedroom which contains a toilet, sink and a bathtub with a shower. The third bedroom has a trundle bed pull out which equals to two single beds and it shares the bath mentioned before with the guest room but it also has a private entrance into the half bath which is accessible from the family room as well.
The large family room has a gas fireplace, a 52-inch smart TV with surround sound, a Sonos audio system, two large couches and two lounge chairs. The family room also has a built-in bar with an ice maker and is separated from the kitchen by a large island which can be used for food preparation and seats up to 6 people. The kitchen contains an electric double oven stove, a microwave, a dishwasher, a side-by-side refrigerator with an ice and water dispenser and 2 coffee makers, both kinds, the Keurig and the filter type. All pots, pans, dishes and utensils are available. There is a large antique cedar table that can seat 12-14 people with benches on both sides and a chair at each end. There are three folding mattresses which are often used for extra bedding either on the floor in the bedrooms themselves or in the family room. The laundry room has a front load washer and dryer as well as a large utility sink.
The upstairs deck, which is 18 x 52 feet, has patio furniture including a table and chairs. It also has ceiling fans and floor fans that are available. There is a large 3 burner grill for cooking large quantities of meat that may require a large space to cook. The deck also has a sink with hot and cold water and a lift from the garage to the deck to allow you to bring supplies up to the deck. The lift is operated by a remote. There is a 20-foot Sunsetter shade which can be remotely brought over the deck with the blue and white remote (located on the wall on left side as you go in the door) The shade will close automatically if the wind picks up but YOU MUST CLOSE IT, IF IT"S RAINING the water will collect and cause SERIOUS DAMAGE)
Downstairs under the deck, is a screened in area which contains a sink with hot and cold water, boiling apparatus for crabs and crawfish that is already connected to the gas (please call me @ 337-280-9753), for proper safe use of the boiler. The Sonos sound can be made to play in the downstairs screened in area, the upper deck, family room or the boat house, or in any combination of these stations The Sonos can be operated by the Harmony TV remote or you can go to the app store on your phone or pad, and download the Sonos app follow the instructions and you'll be able to control it with your phone or pad. Underneath the camp itself, there is a large garage which can hold up to 3-4 cars.
There is a Polaris 4-wheeler which is on the property and can be included for $25.00 a day with the proper credentials for the person using the 4-wheeler.
Right outside the steps of the large camp is the red cabin which is a one-room cabin with one double bed and two bunk beds and a bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet and a kitchenette which contains only a microwave, a small refrigerator and a sink with hot and cold water. The camp is situated on the approximately one acre, which also has playground equipment including a slide and a merry-go-round. Out at the end of the levy is a fishing pier with an upper deck. The fishing pier is available. It has a sink with cold water only. You can use bait on a string or one of the crab traps (usually out there) which can be baited and thrown in. (always throw in with the bate down) The upper deck is a wonderful place to view the marsh and sunbath.
