Summary: I can't say enough good things about this property. The view is spectacular, the home is charming and has everything you need for a comfortable stay in an amazing location near the beach. I rented both of Lionel's homes for my 65th birthday and couldn't be more pleased. The two homes (Casa de la Hoja and Casa Owaissa) are connected so it feels like one big 5 bedroom home and has two pools. You can rent 1 or both of the houses. I invited a big group of friends down to celebrate and we had an amazing time. You can't find a better lady to manage the home than Norma and Memo. I had Norma make breakfast/brunch every morning for all of us and she is a wonderful cook and make what I ordered the day before. It was so nice to realx on the veranda while starting the day with her meals. On my birthday night we had her husband Nestor cook for us the most delicious cordon bleu an side dishes, Norma picked up a Tres Leches cake that was divine! She even decorated the dining room festively for the meal. The beach was down the hill about a 15 minute walk to the main Muertos Beach where you can rent chaise lounges and hang out for the day and order drinks and food. From there it's an easy walk into Zona Romantica and downtown to great restaurants, shopping and cafes Otherwise we used Taxis and Uber for an $5 or $6 ride back and forth. I would would not hesitate to stay here again on a future visit. Awesome property, Norma is the best!
