Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The staff were friendly and courteous. The shower was hot and the air conditioner in my room was cold. The architecture was authentic Mexican but just enough upgrades to ensure comfort. The grounds were well maintained and at least in my room (#12) was quite and peaceful. Breakfast was good but when you consider the service it was excellent. I try to always stay in independent and seasoned properties when visiting other Countries and glad I picked Casa Kolping for one of my three nights in Tuxtla. I certainly will consider staying again if my travels bring me back to Tuxtla Gutierrez Chiapas Mexico.

Negative: I never did figure out how to navigate the TV with the two separate remotes and the air conditioner remote took a lot of hunt and pecking.
