Our comfortable two-story duplex is an ideal haven for groups of any size visiting Overland Park. Boasting 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and a fenced backyard, we ensure a hassle-free stay. Conveniently located near JCCC and major highways (69, I-435, I-35), you'll have swift access to shopping and dining districts. Plus, Kansas City's downtown, Plaza, Zoo, WOF, Power & Light district, and Westport are just a short drive away!
The Space:
This home sleeps 8+ guests and is exclusively for Airbnb guests like yourself so we make sure to provide all the amenities needed for a hassle-free stay to include a fully functional kitchen and a dedicated driveway that can accommodate 2 vehicles. All bedrooms and the 2 full baths are on the upper level. A half bath is on the main level in the laundry room off the kitchen.
Head up to the second floor where you'll find our cozy bedrooms, each offering its own unique charm. Get ready to sink into not one, but two luxurious king-sized beds, providing plenty of space to stretch out and unwind. Plus, there's a fun twin bunk bed, perfect for kids or the young at heart looking for a playful sleeping spot. An air mattress is also available for your extra guest.
Traveling with little ones? Automatically included are plastic child plates/cups/utensils, baby gate, high chair. We have a pack n play available.
Laundry: washer/dryer included with a small supply of detergent, dryer sheets, ironing board, and iron.
Kitchen: fully functional to include pots, pans, skillets, bakeware, crockpot, blender, plenty of dinnerware, glass/plastic drinkware, mugs, various spices, ketchup, mustard, keurig with assortment of k-cup flavors, popcorn, and a variety of pop-tarts, oatmeal packets and breakfast bars.
Toiletries: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, hair dryer.
Other amenities: free WiFi, Netflix, cable, dvd player, tv in every bedroom, charging station, master bed lamps with usb ports.
The unit is located on the left-hand side of the duplex. The garage is currently not available for guest use.
Guest Access:
Self-entry: A unique door code is created and sent to you for convenient access.
All areas of the home are accessible except the basement and garage.
The Neighborhood:
Located in a neighborhood that boasts tree lined streets and unique homes. Guests may enjoy a walk and will find friendly neighbors, kids playing, and folks enjoying front porches. Its proximity to downtown and other local amenities makes it the ideal location from from which you can enjoy metro Kansas City/Shawnee/ Overland Park and the surrounding areas (without the hustle and bustle of the city) whether you're in town for business or pleasure.
Getting Around:
Our neighborhood is very walkable. A car is recommended to get to some KC attractions. Access to the highway is easy. Uber and Lyft are also very great options and easily available.
Other Things to Note:
Parking: 2 vehicles can be parked front to back in driveway. Free off-street parking available within the cul-de-sac.
Quiet Hours: 10PM through 7AM.
HOUSE RULES:
No Smoking Inside, NO PARTIES. No Gatherings. Be kind to the neighbors. Do not block their parking spots/driveways. If you BREAK THE NO PARTY RULE, you will be asked to leave and forfeit your rent. We have the right to assess a $2000 fine if this rules are violated. This home is in a residential neighborhood so please observe the quiet times— 10:00pm to 7:00am.
Trip-Related Issues. From time to time, things happen! And when they do, we want the opportunity to fix them immediately, so you can continue enjoying your stay. If any issues come up, please let us know so we can try our best to fix it right away!
Our check-in time is 4pm check out is 10 am. There are no exceptions to this rule unless previously agreed upon with the host.
NOTE: There are exterior security cameras at the entrance of the duplex for the safety of our tenants and for the security of the residence and our guests. The cameras are all pointing away from the home and are in public view and are recording 24/7.
LOCAL guests - please send us a message before booking. We cannot host local guests without prior authorization or preapproval. We have the right to decline guests who refuses to go through our pre screening or disagrees with our house rules.
Interaction with Guests:
You are welcome to contact us with questions through the Airbnb app should anything come up during your stay— we are not far away.. but we do not interact directly with guests unless it’s necessary. We make sure you feel like you're in your home-away-from-home, free of intrusion.
