If you are an urban warrior, there is a bus stop within a 6 minute walk on the corner of Dickerson Pike and Evanston Street. The #23 bus OR the #14 bus will take you downtown within walking distance to the bars restaurants. Door to door is approximately 20 minutes.
Bike:
East Nashville is home to many dedicated shared bike lanes and is very bike friendly. If you bring one (and we encourage you do) access to the trails at Shelby Park Greenway is only about a 20 minute ride. In addition to the greenway, many of the restaurants, coffee shops and breweries in East Nashville are only 10 minutes away on bike.
