Take in the breathtaking scenery while being transported to Cranberry Island on the family owned lobster boat. Enjoy a night stay with a traditional lobster boil meal provided. Relax while kayaking, hiking, bird watching or sunbathing on the wharf enjoying the view. This is a unique experience. Cranberry is a small island located in Muscongus Bay. There is no internet, television, vehicles or stores on the island. The cottage is situated in a lovely cove that is tidal. Search for shells or sea glass during low tide or swim at high tide. Awake to the sounds of birds and fishing boats in the distance. The cottage has two private bedrooms and an open loft upstairs that can sleep several people. There is a gas stove, propane refrigerator, and solar power in the cottage. We will provide bottled water and soft drinks. There is no running water, water for washing is from a rain barrel. Maine weather is very unpredictable. We will travel in fog and rain. There is inside bathroom accommodations but only an outside sun shower. We will also provide a light breakfast and lobster roll lunch the following day.
