Positive: We were lucky enough to spend the night in Haliksai. This place is an oasis of tranquillity and abundance. Sascha and Celeste are wonderful hosts. We were warmly welcomed by them, the communication worked wonderfully and we found this magical place straight away. The bungalows are very tastefully furnished and very spacious. Ours was right next to the Jogashala. The sea, with a beautiful beach that we had almost to ourselves every time and from where we saw whales jumping and blowing, is a 20-minute walk from Haliksai. The villages of San Francisco and Lo de Marcos can be reached by car in 10 minutes. There are good shopping facilities and many small, friendly restaurants with a relaxed atmosphere. Sayulita can be reached in around 15 minutes. There is a wider range of shops there and is definitely worth a visit. The fact that we were given the opportunity to take part in a temazcal ceremony was the crowning glory of our stay. We will definitely come back when we are in the area again. This place is also perfect for small retreats of up to 16 people. And finally..... the cappuccino was the best in Mexico so far and was brought to our room....
