Mundo Maya Hotel is located in the historical center of the city on Yaxchilan Avenue No. 82 Sm 25 M8. It's next to HERTZ car agency, close to Tulum Avenue and "Parque de las Palapas".
On Tulum Avenue you can take buses to the most beautiful beaches in Cancun and to the nightlife of the hotel zone. We are located at 10 minutes from the bus station (ADO) where you can find daily buses that take you to Cancun Airport, Chichen Itzá, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and many other Mayan places.
We are surrounded by parks and leisure places like restaurants and snack bars. Inside our facilities we have gardens and outdoor places to meet other guests and exchange travel experiences. At Mundo Maya Hostel we believe that strangers don't exist, they are friends that haven't met before.
We have wide rooms with an area of mixed beds and separate dorm rooms for women and men, as well as private rooms for one, two and up to 12 people. Rooms have fans, TV, lockers with key, free Wi-Fi, new shared bathrooms with hot and cold water all day long. Also, we have private rooms with private bathroom and air conditioning.
At Mundo Maya Hostel we do our best for keeping all areas clean 24 hours a day. Rooms and public areas are cleaned every day as well as our sheets and towels. We also include continental breakfast from 7 am to 12 pm (coffee, cereal, milk, bread, butter and jam), free drinking water, microwave and refrigerator for storing food. If you are interested in our culture, we have specialized tours for you, there are a lot of Mayan ruins that you can visit. We have maps and information about Mayan world as well as communication with other hostels within Mayan area (Mexico, Belize Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador). You can also have the owner's advice about Mayan archeology.
Inside the hostel we have piped music, playing cards and table tennis.
