HOLT's two-level home will make for an unforgettable trip to San Miguel for your friends and family. Construction completed in February 2023, the house has been stylishly designed with local art from Fabrica la Aurora. Sleeping up to 12 people, you will be safe and secure in this incredible La Escondida home, chock-full of private amenities and shared facilities.
Our property is part of La Escondida, a private community a short ride to the heart of historic San Miguel de Allende. The amenities include 24-hour gated security, secured parking, an Olympic-size pool and adults-only pool, and a clubhouse.
The home includes:
• 24/7 security & self-check-in, located in La Escondida, a gated community
• A private pool in the patio of the house, grill and outdoor lounging & dining areas (charcoal not included)
• Commercially installed and maintained whole-home mesh WiFi network distributed by the best devices in the world, Ubiquiti UniFi. Running at 500mb/s download speed with almost no downtime, our home boasts top internet access for all your devices, no matter the work you do.

The Living Rooms & Dining Rooms include:
• Two living rooms and seating areas, as well as two dining tables, indoor and outdoor

The Bedrooms include:
• All five bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms with showers and Roku-enabled smartTVs
• The bathrooms feature monsoon showerheads and illuminated mirrors to get the lighting just right!
• The Master Bedroom has a King bed, walk-in closet, 60-inch TV and private seating area
• Four bedrooms have King beds, and the fifth bedroom has two single beds
• Two bedrooms have access to the second-floor patio, with outdoor furniture, an umbrella, and garden & mountain views
• Plenty of clean linens, blow-dryer, three sizes of towels, and the full range of toiletries offered!
The Kitchen includes:
• A modern kitchen fully stocked for your cooking needs, including all necessary cookware, plates, cutlery, knife block, and cooking utensils

• Custom keycodes for keyless entry for each guest, including 24/7 check-in
• Washer & dryer, iron, and ironing board. Laundry services can be provided by HOLT staff.
• Two additional half bathrooms plus an outdoor shower in the pool area
• Professional cleaning and disinfection service before every stay
• Breakfast and mid-stay cleaning are available for an additional fee upon explicit written request from guests' post-booking confirmation. Please note that we need at least 24 hours notice for this service. Breakfast will only be available for same-day arrival bookings beginning on the 2nd morning of the reservation.
HOLT's Guest Experience team is reachable by message, phone, text, and email 24/7. Our on-the-ground managers, cleaners, and handymen are available at reasonable hours of the day and night. In the event of an emergency, HOLT reserves the right to enter the property without prior guest approval.
Guests will be required to submit payment details for a security deposit or a damage waiver. We offer two types of damage coverage for your stay: a non-refundable damage waiver that covers accidental damage and normal wear and tear (excluding house rule violations), or a refundable security deposit held on your payment method before check-in and released after your stay if no damage is found. Guests can choose either option based on their preference.
Pool rules: Guests who do not follow the instructions to use the pool properly and damage it will be subject to a USD 500 fine. The rules are shown in the last photo of the listing and are present in the property.
All guests must sign a HOLT rental agreement, submit identification & provide contact details before arrival to receive HOLT's Boarding Pass with check-in and property information. HOLT reserves the right to request a copy of a government-issued ID for each guest in the reservation.
The property has a CCTV security camera on the exterior of the property with a view of the entrance of our property and the backyard. All recordings are deleted after 30 days.
If you are booking for commercial purposes, please notify us in advance with details of your use of the property as terms and pricing may vary.
This is a pet-friendly property. There is an additional $50 USD sanitation fee per pet. Guests not disclosing they are bringing a pet but are caught by our team will be subject to a $500 USD fee.
Please be aware that two photos of the patio depict a TV, but it has been removed and is no longer available.
We offer a complimentary 20-liter water jug for each stay. Refills are available for an additional fee. A new water jug is provided weekly at no extra cost for long stays.
There is free parking right in front of the property for multiple cars. If you don't have a vehicle. Uber, local taxis, public transportation, and executive taxis are also available.
