Summary: Stayed at this resort after being at the Krystal Grand for 5 days. Krystal Vallarta is so inferior to the Grand. They only had the open air buffet near the pool, for food options. Even though when we checked in we were told there would be other options, we only were able to eat at that one spot. Every time we went to the buffet we were not greeted, even though it was not busy and staff saw us sit down. Id have to wave someone over just to take a drink order. The buffet would open late for its meal service. There wasnt even butter out to put on the buns. No salt and Pepper either. As far as I could tell there was no service at the beach. You had to go get your own drinks. Also, the drinks were not made with real juice. Couldn't even get real orange juice in a mimosa or Lime in a margarita. The listing/website doesnt accurately depict the resort. I much preferred the Krystal Grand. Staff there were very attentive and made sure we had what we needed and wanted. I wont come back to here. It was way over priced for what we got.
