In the evening relax on the decks stargazing, enjoying the tranquil sounds of nature, or roasting marshmallows around the firepit. The space
The home has been completely updated and modernized for your family’s comfort. The home features 3 Bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms.
The kitchen is stocked with all the essential cooking needs, stainless-steel appliances, epoxy countertops, a toaster, a microwave, a full-size fridge, a coffee maker for a single cup or full pot, a tea kettle, and a blender.
The living room has an electric fireplace, plenty of board games and book options for all ages, a 70” smart TV, vaulted wood ceilings, and the sectional couch is large enough for an extra sleeping area. Curl up on the couch to relax and watch a movie or grab the binoculars and enjoy the views of nature.
The first bedroom connects to a full bath with a stand-up shower and has a 50” smart TV and Queen size memory foam bed.
The master bedroom has a Queen-size memory foam bed and a full bathroom with a custom shower, epoxy floor and countertop, and patio door that leads to the massive back deck.
The upstairs loft has 2 full-sized memory foam beds and two closets (pack-n-play with sheet is located in the smaller closet). The iron and board are located in this closet also.
Deer, hawks, bald eagles, many different kinds of birds, and squirrels are some of our nature friends on the property.
The back deck provides enough room for all to enjoy meals, play games, check out the views, or just relax with your preferred drink in hand.
The outdoor space is a great mix of relaxation on the hammocks, porch swing, or around the fire pit, adventure through the trails hiking up the mountain for extraordinary views of the lake and nature, or playing games to include cornhole, ring toss, and ping pong.
Other things to Note
The only way to access the home is by climbing stairs (shown in pictures). The driveway has markers to show a path to get up the driveway. There is parking right in front of the steps up to the home.
This is a family-friendly home but be mindful of watching children on decks and walking around in the woods.
Both smart TVs provide access to many streaming channels but you will need to use YOUR OWN ACCOUNT.
We do provide plenty of towels, hand towels, wash rags, dish soap, hand soap, toilet paper, and paper towels, trash bags, firewood (all around the home is wood in the forest for you to gather and use in the firepit), bed linens and pillows, hairdryer, pack n play, and cleaning supplies in case needed.
Things you may want to bring – bug spray, sunscreen, beach towels, fishing poles, and a relaxing mindset 😊 (DO NOT use bath towels if going to the lake).
The home sits on a mountain and the driveway is gravel.
Upon departure pull all used towels and rags in the laundry basket.
There are no cameras on the property to provide you privacy. The front door has a code for easy access which will be provided one day before check-in. The room under the home is where the washer and dryer are located.
The first aid kit and fire extinguisher are located on the top shelf in the pantry next to the kitchen.
