A Peace of Paris is a cool, cozy A-frame house just down the road (150 yards) from Kentucky Lake with a rock boat ramp. We are dog friendly! Plenty of land to park your boat/vehicles. It's 5 minutes from Paris Landing State Park and 2 minutes from Buchanan Marina/Eagle Creek Campground where you can launch your boat, or rent boats/kayaks.
We completed a master suite addition to the A-Frame in 2022. This first floor addition includes a King bedroom, full bath and laundry. The house has unlimited high speed wi-fi, and 4 tv's. The upstairs has one bedroom with a queen bed, and the second with a double and a twin. The stairs are pretty steep. The original cabin has been fully renovated within the last 2 years and has a delightful screened in gazebo (with heater for cold nights), where you can relax enjoy drinking your coffee in the morning, as well and enjoying family time at night. Want to do some cooking? We have all the amenities, including both a charcoal and gas grill. We have added a lot of board games for some indoor family fun.
A-frames are just fun places to stay in on a vacation. It is comfortable, more room than you think and all the essentials you need to enjoy time away. We have a fire pit to use under the stars, camp chairs and lounge chairs to use for kicking back and enjoying the view. We are not fancy but we try to think of everything you might need to relax, fish, read, sleep!
We are just minutes away from the area's main attractions including, fishing, boating, hunting, golfing and dining. A local Dollar General is close by for those items you may have forgotten, and has a large grocery section. There are also several wonderful restaurants nearby.
Special note for Pets: We really want to remain dog friendly for our lake house so we have a few rules that MUST be followed. No more than 2 dogs and under 50 lbs, must stay off furniture and beds, must be kenneled when alone, and poop in the yard much be discarded. No exceptions to these rules, or the damage deposit will be forfeited. Thank you in advance for following these.
