Summary: We enjoyed our stay in Playa Del Carmen at Iliana's place with the view of the pool. Her caretaker, Silvia was very attentive and helpful from check-in till check-out. She was very easy to reach through Whatsapp calls and messages. The place is in a newly-built gated apartment complex with a security guard 24/7. It is literally new hence there is no public transportation outside the gate but a short walk will get you to an Oxxo convenience store where you can easily take Colectivos and taxis going to downtown/beach. If you will rent a car, there is a dedicated parking spot right in front of the unit. The only downside is that there is an ongoing transaction across the street hence it was a little dusty. I will surely consider Iliana's place again if we are to go back to Playa Del Carmen. Thank you Iliana and Silvia!
