The nearest grocery store is on the south end of town, Chedraui, so you would need to drive there. Also, if you wanted to do any day trips to places like Sayulita, San Pancho, San Sebastian, or Puerto Vallarta, having a car would be really nice. For these occasions, rent a car, take a taxi, or use Uber / Indriver.
