"Mi casa, su casa." We welcome you to share Casa de Banderas, our home away from home! We are a semi-retired couple who love to bring family & friends to enjoy the Bay, and we make our casa available on a limited basis to "friends we haven't yet met."
Relax and unwind in the serenity of the spacious, comfortable & well-appointed townhome complete with a private, oceanfront pool. Enter to an open plan main floor with its wall of windows overlooking the pool and sparkling ocean. Step outside to your own slice of paradise. View gorgeous sunrises and enjoy peaceful evening views of Bucerias and Puerto Vallarta. Watch the oyster divers from your lounge chair while soaking up the sun, or wander the many beaches and seaside towns nearby.
Our casa is located ~25 minutes' drive north of the Puerto Vallarta airport, right on the ocean, between the small Mexican towns of Bucerias and La Cruz. You can walk to either town at low tide on the beach, ~ 3km each way (some jetties to navigate).
Discover the quaint, small-town shopping and dining in Bucerias and La Cruz with quick access to sights and attractions of the famous sun-drenched resort of Puerto Vallarta, a 40-minute drive away. Punta Mita, Sayulita, and San Pancho are all within 20-30 minutes drive.
Follow your marble staircase upstairs to the primary suite with a king bed and ensuite bathroom. The guest suite upstairs has a king bed that can be converted to twins.
Both bedrooms are tastefully decorated in Mexican decor and have sliding doors that open out to a balcony overlooking the tile pool and the Bay of Banderas. Blackout curtains are ready for late sleepers, or use the sheers to let the pink sky welcome you to a new morning.
On the main floor, glass doors in the living room and dining room open directly onto the covered patio and the pool area, which includes a lower grassy patch with stairs leading to the beach below. Sandy beaches are steps away in either direction. A propane grill is ready for great barbeques, or take advantage of the vast array of amazing local restaurants!
A laundry room adjoins the well-equipped kitchen. Available & optional weekly maid service enhances your vacation, while the pool and yard are maintained for you (twice weekly). Beach towels, a small cooler and beach chairs will enhance your excursions to the best beaches in Mexico. Don't forget the sunscreen!
Wireless available in the casa so bring your laptop and keep in touch. A rental car is useful but not critical, as the bus stop is about 3 blocks away and taxis are reasonable. Buses run frequently, are inexpensive and are quite an education in local culture. A taxi phone number is provided, and there is a taxi stand at nearby Punta Esmeralda.
Enjoy sightseeing tours and activities such as surfing, horseback riding, whale watching, fishing, zip lining through the jungle canopy and mountain biking, to name a few. Our bilingual property manager is a wealth of information and only a phone call away.
We are part of a small townhome community of seven units, half of which are owner-occupied by full time or seasonal residents. Casa de Banderas is the perfect place for a romantic getaway, family vacation, a shared vacation with friends, birthday, anniversary or other special event in your life.
