Welcome to Moonrise Ridge, a new luxury cabin hosted privately by Moonrise Vacation Properties, LLC. We are a small family owned and operated business that takes guest experience to the next level.
Imagine running around the same mountains that the Queen of Country, Miss Dolly Parton grew up on. Moonrise Ridge sits just 2 miles from Dolly’s childhood home and is the ridge that she wrote the song “My Tennessee Mountain Home” in honor of. This property sits in quiet seclusion on Locust Ridge in Sevierville, Tennessee and is just 20 minutes to everything. Cal Ripken, 20 minutes… Rocky Top Sports World, 20 minutes… Dollywood, 15 minutes… Ole Red’s, 22 minutes… Great Smoky Mountains National Park, you guessed it 20 minutes. The best part is that it is all easy mountain roads that are less traveled than the parkway, which means easier travel anywhere you want to go!
Let us take a moment and take a journey through the property…. As you cross the Little Pigeon River you will meander through the rolling pastures of cattle along the shores of the Little Pigeon River up to the cabin where you will notice a quiet seclusion and peace. The only neighbors you will see are those who live in nature, this property is frequented by bears, deer, birds, and other forest creatures. We have been astonished by the beauty of the flora and fauna on this property. You will immerse yourself in the sounds of the river, the views of the mountains and voices of the animals all around this property.
This cabin is a 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom new build with an indoor electric fireplace, well-appointed kitchen, fun loft game room with air hockey, a multicade and Boss Toss – a cornhole game. In the basement you will find all the fun – we have our very own karaoke stage – “Live, at Moonrise Ridge” – complete with a monthly competition for our guests! There is a theater room with an 86” TV and 9 recliners for great viewing of the big game or your favorite movie. Just bring your streaming logins!
The main floor has an amazing master bedroom with ensuite bathroom. This room, named Texas, has a King bed and doors to the deck as well as the biggest shower you have ever seen!
Upstairs you will find 2 queen bedrooms that share a bathroom. In the basement you will find a bunk suite with 2, twin over full built in bunks. This bedroom has a bathroom that is shared with the recreation area.
Outside there is an acre and a half of gorgeous property to explore. There is an area with a fire pit and picnic tables to take in the beauty of the mountains off the ridge. The back porch holds a hot tub, perfect for listening to the whippoorwills or tree frogs sing their songs and relaxing after a day of exploring all that the Smoky Mountains have to offer.
There is a charcoal grill and a gas grill for your grilling pleasure here at Moonrise Ridge. This cabin is truly a hidden gem in the Smokies…. We cannot wait to share it with you!
Outside, immerse yourself in the beauty of the Smoky Mountains with a serene walking path along the ridge. Furthermore, a cozy fire pit awaits. Please bring or buy your own firewood.
We gladly welcome well-trained, housebroken dogs. They must be over 18 months old and vaccinated. $50 per dog per night. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate cats due to severe allergies. When making your booking, please provide the age, vaccination status, and breed of each dog, and confirm that there is no history of biting.
Please note that we do not provide baby gates and do not allow them to be pressure-mounted due to damage to tongue and groove.
NOTE: Government ID required to be sent when rental agreement is signed for booking to be accepted. Primary renter must be age 25 or older, and must remain on site for the reservation term.
