Welcome to our beautiful cottages. This beautiful home and guest house is one of the only rentals that actually offers everything. We are walking distance to Esker Point Beach and the private beaches of GLP. We actually spent over $20k in purchasing the water toys. We have 6 Stand-Up Paddleboards and 6 Kayaks for your use. That is correct 12. Everyone can enjoy the water at the same time (Great for social media pics). That is a $2500 savings if you had to rent them yourself for the week. We include 2 complimentary boat slips; one for a smaller boat right at Palmers Cove Marina so you can run that Boston Whaler up and down the Mystic River. The other will dock a boat up to 30 feet and is located across the street at Spicer's Marina. That is another $2000 savings if you had to rent the boat slips. We have a boat launch right at our dock for your use as well. Kids can play on the boat docks and enjoy fishing, crabbing, netting, and a host of water activities while you observe from the second floor deck. We offer small boat rentals as well, and arrange Fishing Charters upon request.
This exquisite home is made up of 8 total Bedrooms, 2 Full Kitchens, 4 full Bathrooms inside, and a full Bathroom outside. There is a quaint guest house that also offers 3 Bedrooms, 1 Kitchenette, and 2 Full Bathrooms. In the Main house both floors have separate central A/C systems. We have the most expanded WIFI available. We have a beautiful 2000+ sq ft pavered courtyard featuring a custom table that seats 18+. There is a fire pit for your enjoyment as well. We have a large grassy area between the two houses for recreational activities leading down to the water.
The First floor boasts 5 bedrooms, 2 full baths, and a new kitchen, dining area, living room, and a huge laundry center featuring brand new appliances. There is one King Bedroom and 3 Queen Bedrooms in the Main area. There is also one Queen Bedroom detached from the Main area. It has its own entry direct from the outside. This is perfect for the fisherman that is getting up early to catch some Striped Bass and doesn’t want to wake the rest of the family, or for that crazy Uncle that needs to tag along.
The home is decorated by an award winning designer from Greenwich, CT. It is not some old home up for rent, it is the exact opposite. It is uniquely decorated for a luxury beach home.
The upstairs level of the home boasts a beautiful deck overlooking all of Palmers Cove, with an incredible view of the beach and Fishers Island. It has 3 bedrooms, a full kitchen, 2 full bathrooms, living room, and a large laundry area as well. There is 1 King bedroom, 1 Queen Bedroom, and the 3rd bedroom offers a Queen bed, and 2 additional twin beds.
The Guest House has 3 Bedrooms. One has a King (with a Private Bathroom off of it), and the others have a Queen each. These bedrooms in the guesthouse are a touch smaller than the bedrooms in the Main house.
The beautiful Harbor Town known as “Downtown Mystic” is only a short bike ride or casual stroll away. A three (3) mile journey brings you to one of New England’s most sought after destinations. You may also rent one of our small boats at Palmers Cove Marina and travel by boat. Cruise up the river, go under the famous draw bridge and tie up to one of the many restaurants on the water. The famed Mystic Aquarium and Mystic Seaport are within minutes as well.
We do have a GM that will check you in and answer any questions about the area. During your stay we have a person that is on call at all times. He is only moments away. If you need extra fire wood for the pit for example (which we provide) or extra propane for the gas grills, he will get it for you.
For the nighttime fare, the two Connecticut Casinos (Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun) are within 20 minutes and there are many other activities even closer. Every Thursday night Esker Point Beach has its concert series. You can walk across the street to the Beach or simply listen to it from your deck.
The home is perfect for multiple families. There is privacy but yet easy access to each other if wanted.
Please do not underestimate how important it is to be within walking distance to an Awesome Beach. A beach house is not a true "Beach House" if you can't walk to the beach. This makes it so easy when you have a lot of people and guests. Everybody can come and go at their own pleasure. Waking back to the house for a private bathroom break, or a lunch break, or a forgotten iPhone is simple and only takes 5 minutes. Having to actually drive to a beach and load up cars, kids, food, etc. you might as well be 45 minutes from the beach. It always gives you the ability to do something easy for everyone. Please only compare our home to others that can walk to a fantastic Beach as well. Thanks for looking at our beautiful house and we genuinely look forward to having you as a guest. We are also currently offering an amazing beach trip. We have another beachfront property that has a 24 seat custom Pontoon Boat. We can use this to shuttle large groups out to the Island. Thats right. You can book a day trip to Sandy Point Beach. The nicest beach in all of New England. Just let us know upon check in if you are interested and we can give you all the details. You are technically renting a boat slip from us for the price and the home is included with the slip.
