This cottage is located in Cascade Canyon, a wooded neighborhood of Mill Valley that's a quick stroll from the alpine-inspired downtown. Walk to the legendary Dipsea Trail and the fire roads that climb Mt. Tam, or wander down Throckmorton to the Sweetwater Music Hall and a variety of restaurants and shops. This is a haven for daily excursions as well, with Mt. Tamalpais State Park (three miles), Muir Woods (four miles), and Stinson Beach (11 miles) all within a scenic drive.
Built in 1915 and thoughtfully renovated in the years since then, this home is a place to find ease and comfort. Step outside each morning onto the covered back patio with new, cushioned seating, and find a wonderful spot to sip your first cup of coffee and breathe in the fragrant redwoods.
Enter through the red front door to be greeted by all-new furnishings and a living space that's at once both modern and inviting. Enjoy an updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances (including a gas stove), a living and dining area warmed by the gas fireplace, and even a designated office where you can log onto the complimentary WiFi and take work calls in peace. The one bedroom and the upgraded bathroom are upstairs on the second floor.
