Welcome to The Good Life.
The cabin is 12 ft x 26 ft with a lofted sleeping space that is accessed by a steep ladder, so it is not a good fit for people with mobility issues or kids. The small sofa folds out into a bed, good for a smaller adult or child.
The kitchen has a 2 burner electric top and decent sized fridge with a coffee machine and microwave.
This is a dry cabin meaning there is electricity but an outhouse for the toilet. Showers and laundry facilities can be found in town.
We have spectacular views of the ocean, 4 volcanoes and a glacier, sitting on 15 acres of pure Alaskan nature.
We are a small farm, dog daycare and boarding, and rescue. The animals come first so please keep that in mind if you’re sensitive to noise or smells.
The cabin sits 50 ft from our dog boarding facility and 200 ft away from our house.
We are located 15 minutes from town and 20 minutes from the spit where the harbor is.
The outhouse is located just steps away from the cabin and is shared by our farm hand and a long term tenant, both who work all day.
The cabin has a front porch to sit on and look at the view. There is also a small bbq and firepit for guests to use. If you want to meet the animals, we'll introduce you and you can hang out with them whenever you want!
