The Island On Lake Travis is a unique condo complex located on a 14 acre private island on Lake Travis.
We now offer long term stay rates during the winter. Please inquire through VRBO if you are interested in escaping the harsh winters.
This cozy condo is an "actual" one bedroom, one bath, not a studio. It is located on the second floor, steps away from the elevator. We have completely remodeled and decorated from top to bottom. Though we do not have a balcony, or lake view, we have a view of the courtyard, and we are steps away from access and views of the lake and pools. The living room and bedroom each have large 46" flat screen TV's with cable and WiFi.
The bedroom has a king size bed.
There is only ONE bed.
Even though we prefer 2 guest occupancy, we have no problem having four guests.
In this case, you would need to bring your own air mattresses or use the sectional. We have extra sheets and pillows in the master closet.
We have a fully equipped kitchen with a keurig, cooking utensils, pots and pans, and dinnerware for 4 ( sorry, no dishwasher). The bedroom and bath come equipped with 2 sets of linens and 4 sets of towels. We do not provide body soap or shampoo. We have extra towels in a blue tub in the master closet and linens on the shelves. The property has a laundry room on the first floor. We have laundry supplies in the kitchen pantry on the left under air conditioner unit.
There is one covered reserved parking space on the ground level and additional “guest” spaces outside as well. There are 3 elevators on the property.
The Island on Lake Travis is the perfect spot to take in wildlife, swimming, water sports, or just relaxing by the pool or lake.
The town of Lago Vista is under 10 minutes away and provide a grocery store, hardware store, restaurant choices, and of course mini marts and a liquor store.
There is another Liquor store, Lago Liquor’s and another convenience store as you continue past Lago Vista towards our condo.
There are many yearly festivals in nearby Austin to enjoy, or, you may want to take the 30 minute drive to lovely Marble Falls, or visit the quaint town of Fredericksburg. There are 18 hole golf courses nearby, and wineries to explore.
We provide you with check in information prior to your arrival, this includes address, front gate code, door code, and the number of your assigned parking space.

The Grille at Highland Lakes has beautiful views and great food, plus, Sunday brunch. It’s approximately 10-15 minutes away. Call for more information 512-344-9400
The Gnarly Gar restaurant is 10 minutes away and sits on the end of the marina in Point Venture. You can watch and feed the huge catfish and carp while you're enjoying your meal. They also have a small store and gift shop. They are open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner. (512) 267-1845

If you don’t mind driving, there is an amazing restaurant called, The Oasis. It’s 31 minutes away, they have an Arcade, shops, and the most spectacular views of lake Travis with indoor and outdoor seating;
Their seating policy is first-come-first-served. They do not seat incomplete parties during peak business hours. They recommend you arrive at least an hour before sunset during peak season (March through October). The restaurant phone number is (512) 266-2442 if you have any further questions.
