Summary: I saw some of the poor reviews and knew what what was in store for me. Frankly, I only got the room because I needed to use the shower and toilet as my place had no running water for days due to a water main break. The place is conveniently located off Route 46, near I-80. There is ample parking. The place was not very clean, though the lobby reeked of bleach, so at least some effort was being made. All hotel staff was courteous and pleasant. The hallways and balconies all smelled like smoke despite ample warnings advising guests not to smoke. I am not sure what the hotel staff is expected to do, short of policing the hotel constantly. The refrigerator in my room was so efficient that it froze all of the soda cans I had brought with me. The floor of the shower was slippery and slimy. The carpet felt moist and I dared not walk on it barefoot. The bed was a rock, though the pillows were comfortable. In any case, I ended up driving home to sleep (half an hour away) and using the room to shave and shower before work. Again, for 90 dollars a night, I am not sure what people expect. Some of the reviews are scathing. They seem to expect four or five star amenities for very little money. You get what you pay for, people!
