Rustic 1850 traditional Maine farmhouse on 10 acres of fields and woods. Basic, solid and comfortable, furnished simply. Sleeps 12 if you are ok to double up (each bedroom has a double bed.) 2 ground floor bedrooms have private baths. 4 more bedrooms on the 2nd floor share a bath. The dining room table seats 8 - 10 and the kitchen table seats 4 - 6. Fans in each room. If you are seeking something modern and slick and high tech this is not it! Best suited to those who love old farmhouses and whose needs are simple. An easy mile through woods and meadows to a wide, serene bay. A great starting place for exploring our pristine coast. Tucked away on a corner of the quiet Brooksville peninsula known as the "Valley of Stars" due to it's spectacular night skies. 1.5 hrs. to Acadia, 25 minutes to Blue Hill, a 2 minute walk to our nearest neighbors, the unique eatery and performance space, Tinder Hearth Bakery.
