Summary: This beautiful, handsomely-decorated house was the perfect place for our family tribe to gather from all points of the compass for a wedding at nearby Tarbin Gardens. The house easily handled our clan of sixteen ranging in age from 7 months to 71 years. Nearby activities and attractions filled the days and made our gathering a truly joy-filled week. Sean and Cara were a delight to work with and graciously accommodated our post-reservation changes. Communication was excellent throughout - we received thorough and clear guidance on enjoying the house’s many features, including a very handsome “user’s guide.” The dining and activity recommendations in the book are spot-on. The family especially loved gathering for billiards and foosball in the evenings, while the kids also had fun with the electronic games upstairs. The house offers plenty of outside decking a propane grill and a fire pit with Adirondack chairs for fellowship in the evening. The large sloping lawn provides plenty of open space for kids to gambol about and a surrounding border of trees sets you off from neighboring properties. The kitchen is very large and well equipped with an island gas range providing a natural gathering spot. Full appliances and accoutrements made meal prep a pleasure. And we could dine together at the lfarm-style dining table. We loved our stay at the Munnis’ lodge and strongly suspect a winter visit for skiing would be a truly amazing experience.
