Town lake is a few blocks south: stroll, run, or bike along the 10-mile loop of shaded trail and boardwalk; or rent a SUP or kayak. Or hang home and kick-back by the heated pool, in the hammock, or by the firepit in the shared courtyard.
This 1930s bungalow features all original shiplap and hardwood floors, teardrop siding, and a beautifully landscaped yard with shared heated plunge pool, shaded by the canopy of an old-growth elm tree. Completely renovated and equipped with all modern comforts, this 2-story house offers 2 bedrooms, 3 beds and 2 bathrooms, a dedicated work space with a monitor and keyboard/mouse set up, reading nook, and a spacious loft for kids and adults to enjoy. Enjoy the well-appointed kitchen with everything you need to prepare a delicious meal or at least your morning cup of coffee or tea before heading out to explore Austin’s incredible food scene. Eat at the breakfast counter or on the back porch. G-fiber internet with gigabit speed and fast mesh WiFi throughout all corners of the house.
The house sleeps 5 adult guests (2 Queen beds and 1 Double bed) and does also have ample room for kiddos in the loft; please let us know if we can assist with kid items like a pack-n-play or highchair.
The courtyard is shared with guests that may be staying in the other bungalow (there are 2 houses on property -- common in east Austin). The pool can be heated during our cooler months between Oct - May.
The great thing about East Austin is it's a neighborhood that's close to everything, but with a great neighborhood comes neighbors! We have strict quiet hours outside from 10pm - 7am each night. This is THE place to have fun but please be respectful of our neighbors and keep the noise at a reasonable volume while outside. Noise levels are monitored by Minut to prevent loud parties, damage to our property and noise complaints from neighbors. Come to have fun but please be respectful of our neighbors and our property during your stay.
This property is non-smoking. Guests that smoke inside (including vaping) will be charged a $500 cleaning fee and will be responsible for replacing any items damaged by smoke and cigarettes.
There is street parking available directly in front of property or any open street parking nearby.
