This spacious family home is located right on beautiful Lake Superior beachfront. After playing on the beach, enjoy sitting in front of a warm fireplace and hang out playing board games and Foosball, or watching TV downstairs.
Upstairs is a large livingroom/dining area with a spacious kitchen and an amazing view of the lake. Sit and watch huge ocean freighters go by, binoculars provided get a closer look!

The space
This 4 bedroom 2 bathroom house is located in Dollar Settlement, about 15min from Brimley and 45min from Sault Ste Marie. It has plenty of space to explore and direct private access to the lakeshore.
There are beds for 8 people, assuming 2 per queen and 1 per twin bed. All new mattresses and updated bedroom furniture in 2022. There is also a folding cot in the bunkbed room downstairs . There is plenty of floor space if more people want to stay and provide their own sleeping bags or air mattresses.
The backyard by the lake is large and perfect for events such as weddings and birthday parties, with a beautiful unobstructed view of the lake. Also perfect for sledding in the winter!
Guest access
Guests have access to everything except the garage and utility room.

The fireplace upstairs is not usable, it is an insert that hasn't been set up yet.
If you enjoy rockhounding, this is the place for you! We have found many UV fluorescent Yooperlite rocks just walking up and down the shore right in front of the house. Some of them are on display in the upstairs livingroom (please feel free to look and touch but please don't take home). A UV flashlight is provided if you want go rock hunting after dark for your own special souvenirs.
There are painting supplies and canvases in the downstairs art corner, please feel free to create a painting to leave on the art wall that represents something you enjoyed about your stay for future guests to enjoy (or take home)! painting can be done upstairs, or at the provided painting nook downstairs next to the bathroom. please use a provided drop cloth on the table to avoid paint stains.
absolutely no drugs or excessive alcohol consumption on the premises.
The house has a septic system, so please flush nothing except toilet paper (very important, we've had several septic backups).
We warn against swimming in the lake when it's stormy, as there are strong rip currents.
