As the name implies this three-bedroom cottage sits at the edge of the sea and provides spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean all the way out to Monhegan Island. Enjoy swimming, launch Kayaks or boats at Grimes Cove Beach, just a brief walk around the corner. This cottage is located at the desirable Ocean Point area of East Boothbay. The Ocean Point Colony Trust maintains a clubhouse, tennis courts, and pickleball courts (for a fee) where many enjoyable activities take place during the summer that you and your family could sign up for at the Casino during the time of your stay. The cottage is just around the corner from the historic Wilson Stone Chapel that is very popular for weddings.Many people walk and sit along Shore road which is spectacular oceanfront. It is afavorite to all such as Plein air artists, photographers, locals grabbing a quick lunch, or visitors enjoying a picnic. Explore the shoreline's rocks and hunt for sea glass.Enjoyed by couples, families, definitely a very popular location for all and where the land meets the sea. THE SEASIDE HOUSE: A classic Maine cottage perched on the Edge of the Sea. Enter the cottage into a small hallway leading to the cottage kitchen and straight ahead into the expansive living/dining room with its wall of windows to the ocean. Lots of seating for dining, relaxing or visiting.
First Floor: Features the kitchen, dining/living room with large picture windows. Bedroom, and bathroom with shower complete this floor.
Second Floor: Here you will find two bedrooms (one double and one with twins) as well as a full bath with a tub.
(Note: the stairs to the second floor are steep and may be a challenge for older people with mobility issues or very small children.)
