El Tejoncito Beach (just one of Huatulco's 36 beaches) lies at the base of the bluff, a short walk from the villa. Our guests now enjoy access to the beach through the beach club.In front of the villa lies the Pacific Ocean, and in the back patio, where we usually serve breakfast, a majestic view of the famed Sierra Madre Mountains. Please note that regardless of how many of the four suites you occupy, you are the only guests at Villa Azomalli that week; I never put people together who do not know each other. The rates depend on how many of the four suites you occupy, and whether you visit us from December 14 to May 01, or from May 01 to December 14. The tax on Villa Azomalli is a 16% Federal government IVA tax or value added tax, plus an additional 3% State of Oaxaca, Mx., separate hotel tax.
Our guests now have free access to the beach ( a two minute walk to the base of the bluff from villa ) through Celeste Beach and Spa Club. We also have local contacts for all land/water-based recreational activities. The 18 hole golf course is only a six minute cab ride from the villa.
