We are pleased to offer our newly renovated, downstairs apartment to travelers and business guests alike. The space is private and cozy, and contains several amenities to ease your stay. Check out our listing description for more info!

The space

Our rental space occupies the entire downstairs (approx 900 square feet). It is accessible through a locked, separate entrance for which you will receive a personalized entry code. You will have your own private bathroom, kitchenette with included appliances, and a rec room space.
The kitchenette contains a mini-fridge, microwave, water boiler and amenities (tea, silverware, ceramic mugs & plates, napkins etc.) The two main bedrooms come furnished each with a queen-sized bed, reading lamps, allergen-free (synthetic) downy comforters, and baseboard heating (adjustable temperature control). The unit also contains a spare room with a couch that converts to a bed. Spare comforters/blankets are available for your use. This room has its' own temperature control as well. Our house is located a 15-minute walk away from the Link Lightrail train (public transit), which runs to Sea-Tac airport (20 mins), downtown Seattle (20 mins), and can even get you to the University of Washington (30 mins). There is a bus a few blocks away from us which can bring you to the Light Rail as well.

Parking space is available on the street or on the left side of the driveway.

We cannot guarantee parking for more than one vehicle, through street parking nearby may be an option

We live in the upstairs unit of the house, so we will not be far away if you need assistance with unit entry or restocking of supplies. We may occasionally need to access the washer and dryer which are located in your unit, but can make arrangements with you as to when so that you enjoy full privacy when staying at our home. All downstairs windows come with french blinds as well. We will only enter your unit via arrangement or request or in case of emergency. Downstairs does not have it's own dishwasher so we will collect and wash your dishes daily using a dish collection bin located by the locking door that separates our units.

The neighborhood

Lovely residential area located close to amenities such as public transit, city parks, restaurants and grocery stores. Boeing field is nearby but our unit is well-insulated from outside noise. We are just a short bike or bus-ride away from Kubota Gardens, a gorgeous and spacious public garden that is free to explore. Take the Light Rail one stop north to get to Othello station, with authentic Asian restaurants and grocery stores, or take it further north to get to Downtown Seattle's restaurants, shopping, and transit to tourist attractions such as the Space Needle. Seattle is in a great spot for on-demand food delivery and has many late-night spots open till 2am or later.

Our neighborhood is quiet so we recommend keeping noise levels outside respectful if you are coming in late, the easiest and quickest way to get back to the unit late at night would be taking a Lyft or an Uber. We can give recommendations on apps you can download ahead of or during your stay to make your time in our fabulous thriving city as enjoyable and convenient as possible.

Other things to note

Please note that we do not allow third-party rentals. If you reserve for someone else, we cannot accommodate the stay. Only the primary guest and accompanying friends/relatives may stay in the unit. If you are traveling with a party, please be prepared to provide verification and names for all adults staying in the unit.
