Summary: Our overall stay was wonderful! The resort was incredibly safe, clean, and the resort staff were very friendly and helpful. The penthouse was spacious and offered an amazing view—perfect for our family. The hosts were very responsive and promptly addressed the minor issues we reported. Overall, our experience was so great that we didn’t want to leave the resort or the penthouse.A few things to consider: there’s only one bedroom on the main floor—the rest are upstairs. The staircase is steep and may be difficult for those with mobility issues. The beds weren’t the most comfortable, the water didn’t seem filtered, and there was no ice available, so be sure to bring your own. You’ll also need a car if you plan to visit the town or Malecón area, which are about a 15-minute drive away. Bring your own beach gear as well. That said, the pools are large and well-maintained, and the SWIM Bar & Grill was a great on-site amenity—though note that it’s closed a few days a week. Honestly, the resort and penthouse are so nice, you may not even want to leave!
