Travel Purpose: business

Positive: The rental was great, and we had plenty of room for 5 adults and a baby. Kitchen was nicely stocked with essentials, and there was plenty of closet space. Having three full bathrooms, made it easy to get ready for each day’s adventure. The home is less than 1 hour drive from lots of Michigan attractions.

Negative: While there was plenty of closet space, two of the bedrooms were lacking a dresser or chest for storing items that cannot be hung. Also, the home does not have air conditioning. This is probably fine for most days because of Michigan’s mild summers. However, the temperature was above 85 our first two days and the home was extremely warm. There were several fans, but they were all very small. We ended up buying 2 more. The town of Empire is very small with just a few restaurants and shops. We spent most of our time visiting other towns.

Summary: Plenty of space with a little room for improvement.
