There are wonderful mountain bike trails right from the property, as well as some of the finest hiking in the Phoenix area. While being only a few minutes from Downtown Phoenix, it is very private and quiet, nestled in a scenic desert mountain bowl with coyote and javelina occasionally visiting the site.
There are multilevel decks facing both toward South Mountain and Downtown Phoenix, providing some of the best panoramic scenery in the Phoenix area. If you are looking for quiet time to catch up on reading, fantastic hiking right from the property, and scenic desert vistas, this is the vacation house for you. Just to be perfectly transparent: In the summer months (June, July and August) the water runs warm as the distance it travels underground up the mountain is great. It takes a bit for it to cool down.
