This house was built in 1867, just two years after the end of the Civil War in Louisville’s original meatpacking district, Butchertown. Butchertown has a rich German history of butchers, brewers, and other notable early American professions. Today, the neighborhood is still home to many historic attractions such as the Thomas Edison House.
Our Butchertown Louisville rental is in a prime location, within walking distance to waterfront park, the Lynn Family Stadium, and a 5-10min drive to NuLu, the Yum Center, Downtown Louisville, Kentucky Expo Center, and Churchill Downs.
