My recently built adobe home is located on a volcanic ridge overlooking the lake of the Presa Corrinchis just 500 mts. from the shore. Nestled with pines on either side, the unrestricted views of the surrounding mountains is spectacular.This is truly a comfortable and unique home and unusual to find a property in Mexico set off by itself, ensuring peace and privacy. Walk out freely in any direction where you will find beautiful walking and riding paths. Just 1 km. down the road are four restaurants on the lake shore. The huge covered terrace is complete with tables, easy chairs and hammock and draws you outside to the perfect year round climate. The house interior has a wood beamed and clay tile ceiling and is 6 mts. high for a spacious feel. The entire south side of the house is mostly oversized sliding glass doors and windows. In building the house I used more than 300 recycled bottles for lighting and also set in the adobe structure. . I have a high speed Wi Fi connection with a Roku TV. There is one very large bedroom with ensuite full bath and another full bath adjoining the living room. The open and spacious living/kitchen has two single sofa beds and a working fireplace (wood provided). The house is very well equipped with blender, food processor, microwave, pots and pans, dishes, glasses, silverware, stove with oven, refrigerator and freezer. I also supply sheets, towels, and bath products (natural biodegradable soap). Any special requests are welcomed to have the necessary groceries waiting for you. . It is a paradise for dogs, so feel free to bring yours to romp free in the surrounding pastures and woods. The distance from Mascota is 4 kms. of frequently travelled unpaved road. The entrance from the main road is 500 mts. of passable but rough road. The nearest cabin is 100 mts. with occasional occupancy. There are sheep, horses and cows in the pastures around the house but the garden is fenced in. The house is one level, handicapped accessible. This is my own home that I rent while travelling so the decor is elclectic displaying art pieces from all over the world.
