Travel Purpose: business

Positive: This is hippy oasis in Mexico City. Lots of crystals, art, and incense. The living room of this place was so so pretty- I sat and did work at the drawing board, played the guitar on the wall, and relaxed in the hammock like it was my own house. The view is beautiful, but wicked winds during a storm (I don’t think there’s a fire exit? Only an elevator up to the 15th floor). The kitchen was nice and functional. There was tea and chips in the cupboards- something that was very much appreciated after a long flight. The bedrooms were less updated than the living room, but still nice. It’s a two bedroom apartment with two showers, so could be nice for groups.

Negative: I booked the place because it advertised a bathtub and a washing machine. The bathtub was “under maintenance” and the washing machine was behind a locked door. The tv also needed you to sign into your own streaming to use, which was annoying because the streaming often doesn’t work for foreign accounts. There was VERY LOUD roof work being done while we were there, luckily we were away most of the day. The communication was easy and the security workers were so nice.

Summary: Beautiful with friendly service, but lacking some amenities.
