Located east of Calgary, Chestermere Lake is a beautiful 4.8km long lake that provides many water activities. Boaters are welcome on the lake. Feel free to enjoy the wind in your hair and try out your wakeboard, water skis, or tubes. Non-motorized boats such as canoes, kayaks, sailboats, and paddleboats also make use of the lake. With a fishing license, you can also fish at Chestermere Lake, where several very large fish have been caught. Buoys placed near the parks during summer mark shoreline areas for swimming. In winter, you can skate or even snowmobile on the frozen ice. Our home is in a relatively quiet and very safe neighborhood! Living in Chestermere is ideal for people who enjoy an active lifestyle and lots of options for recreation.
