Welcome to Cabañas Balamjuyuc
Balamjuyuc meaning the mountain of the jaguar, it is where the sun and the moon meet at Punta Cometa, your home in paradise, beach, sun and an impressive view of the Pacific Ocean.
We are a pet-friendly, family atmosphere hostel that offers 10 cabins, some private with their own bathroom and others shared and many dormitories, a dipping pool, grill, parking space and excellent wifi.
Conceived under an ecological concept, in order to preserve the environment, we use the maximum of natural resources, collective toilets and the recovery of water to irrigate the plants.
In the building of this hostel, we have used many natural and recycled materials, the cabins have been built with a rustic and simple touch using mosquito nets where possible allowing the entry of the sea breeze,
Our hostel has a perfect location, 5 minutes down the steps to Rinconcito Beach, 10 min on a path to Punta Cometa, 5 minutes down the hill to town and 10 minutes to the amazing black sandy beach of Mermejita.
