3 Bedroom House in Manset, Southwest Harbor
A short walk from the town dock and three minute drive from the center of Southwest Harbor, this comfortable artist and musician's home has an expansive backyard and beautiful wrap-around porch for outdoor dining and relaxing in the sea air.
Soak in the salty air as you lounge on our eighty foot wrap-around porch and catch glimpses of Somes Sound through the maples.
This sunny house features three bedrooms, all with comfy queen-sized beds. The large bedroom on the second floor has two beautiful southwest-facing windows and the other bedrooms face the water (one is on the first floor). The large bathroom on the second floor features a luxurious custom shower and antique claw-foot soaking tub. The first floor has a generous living room with a Steinway grand piano as the focal point, as well as a nice sound system with a turntable and records. This cook's kitchen is well-equipped with a gas stove, nice pots and pans, spices, olive oil and some baking basics so you can hit the ground running. It is designed as a hangout spot with an island that seats six for informal meals. There is no formal dining room, but the covered porch seats six for al fresco dining.
You'll have access to a washer & dryer in the basement. Amenities include high speed internet and a gas grill. Bikes can be stored on the porch. Bring your own lawn games for the backyard. During the summer we will be living in a tiny house on the back of the property and will be around most days to answer questions. Extra kid beds are available upon request.
