3 Bedroom Cottage in Leeds and the Thousand Islands, Lansdowne
Welcome to Ironwood, an artistic, vintage, boho Cottage on serene and
picturesque Killenbeck Lake.
The Cottage sits on a rise overlooking the lake and accommodates up to 6
adult guests. There is good sized deck for relaxed sunny afternoons or al
fresco dining. The view is lovely with sunset views over the lake. The interior
is creatively curated with charming, vintage details and witty accents that
compliment your cottage experience.
The first large bedroom overlooking the lake with queen size bed also has a
twin daybed tucked away to the side.
The second cozy bedroom is furnished with a queen bed.
The third sleeping option is a full size fold out couch in the living room.
The main room includes a fully furnished kitchen, dining area, and living
room with a working fireplace. Cooks will find the kitchen has just about
everything you could ever ask for - (Fridge, Oven/Stove, mixer, blender,
food processor, coffee maker, French press, pots and pans, baking dishes,
plus the usual knives, cutlery, vintage dishes, and glassware). BBQ on the
deck is propane.
Large screen TV monitor is available using your own cables.
Internet is provided.

Access to the shore is by stone steps where a short dock is located. Small
boats can access the lake by ramp on Highway 3, near Router Road. The
lake is quite warm in the summer and fishing Bass and Pike (in season) is
popular. Please consult the FISHERIES MANAGEMENT ZONE for exact dates
and rules.

Arriving here is only 10 minutes off Highway 401.
Parking for up to three cars. Charleston Lake Park is a few minutes drive away with a great beach - for
anybody wanting a sand beach swim experience as well as great hiking
trails. There is a charming coffee shop for breakfast in nearby Outlet where
they sell fishing gear and licenses as well as ice cream.
Killenbeck Lake also serves as a great hub for other nearby sights and
Ontario small towns worth exploring including Perth, Delta, Westport, and
Rockport. The 1000 Islands tour boats launching from both Gananoque and
Rockport have amazing scenic tours of the St. Lawrence River.
Excellent summer theatre and fine dining in nearby Gananoque is only a
short drive away. Historical Kingston, Brockville, and Upper Canada Village
are also manageable day trips.
Groceries and an LCBO can be found in nearby Lansdowne (Freshmart). For
farm fresh local groceries, Wendy’s Country Market in Lyndhurst is the best!
